General

By ordering products from Bananafish Beauty by phone, fax, post or website, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms & conditions set out in the following paragraphs. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions without modification, then you should not place an order with us.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch your goods within 24 hours. We use Royal Mail 1st class post. However, orders can be delayed due to reasons beyond our control, so please allow 7 days for your order to arrive.

Our postage charges: for orders up to and including the value of £50, we charge £2.50. For orders over £50, our delivery is free.

Please note that we deliver only to UK addresses.

Refunds and Returns

If you are not entirely happy with the goods you receive from us, you are entitled to a refund up to 7 days after receipt. Note that this applies to unopened goods only. Unfortunately we cannot refund for goods which are opened or used in any way.

To obtain a refund, please follow these instructions:

  • Email or phone us, and tell us exactly the goods you wish to return plus their value.
  • Mail the items back to us.
  • On receipt of the goods, we will refund the value of the goods back to your credit/debit card.
  • We will notify you, by email or phone, when the refund is complete.

Goods Damaged in Transit

If your items are damaged in transit, other than minor wear and tear to packaging, please follow the return instructions above to gain a full refund.

Price Pledge

We strive to supply you with dermalogica© products at competitive prices. Our price policy is in keeping with the obligatory pricing laid down by dermalogica©.

Beware of cheaper competitors! If their prices are lower than ours, they are contravening the dermalogica© rules and are probably involved in a dispute with dermalogica©.

Privacy & Security

In order to process credit and debit cards online, we employ the services of PayPal, the global leader in online payments.

Using PayPal for payment processing gives you, the consumer, a number of advantages:

  • When you reach the payment stage of your online transaction, you are connected directly to PayPal's secure server. This means that all details which you type in, including your card number, are encrypted securely before being transmitted over the Internet.
  • Your details are held securely with PayPal and are not released to any other party. Even here at Bananafish Beauty, we never see your card details.
  • When you make your first purchase, you create a (free) account with PayPal. This means that your subsequent purchases are even easier - simply log in to PayPal and your details are already there.

How a Transaction Proceeds

You select one or more items by clicking the Add to Basket button. This keeps a record of each item and its value, ready for when you proceed to the "Checkout".

By clicking the "Secure Checkout" button in the Shopping Basket, you start the transaction process. The first step involves logging in to your existing PayPal account, or creating a new account if you don't already have one.

If you already have a PayPal account, your card details etc are already registered. If it's a new account, enter all the information as required. Note that we request a contact telephone number, just in case we need to contact you about your transaction. We will NOT make any sales calls.

You may, if you wish, add a comment or query in the "Message to Seller" box.

To make the payment, click the "Pay" button. If you wish to cancel the transaction without making any purchase, click the "Cancel" button.

PayPal then verifies your card details and, if everything is in order, debits the payment from your card and credits the payment to our PayPal account.

Following payment, or if you cancel the transaction, you will be returned to the main Beauty Parlour web site.

If you have made a payment, you will receive a confirmation email from PayPal. Note that the purchase will appear as BEAUTYPARLO on your credit / debit card statement.

Note that the Beauty Parlour website does not use cookies.

Our Contract - Bananafish Beauty's acceptance of your order commences when your order is despatched. At this point the purchase contract starts and you will be charged for the goods.
